The Bernie L. Bates Foundation, Inc., and Psi Alpha Alpha Chapter have joined forces to make a positive impact on the First Responders in Fairfax, County, Virginia as a result of COVID-19. On June 10, 2020, as a result of the second of five monthly $1,000.00 contributions to Rx Catering – DC Metro, the catering service provided the DaVita Fort Belvoir Dialysis Center team catered lunches. DaVita provides life saving treatments for their patients, and on behalf of the team, Ms.Gloria Caceres-Roman, Facility Administrator, thanked the Foundation and Chapter for our generosity. The Foundation recognizes the importance of Uplifting those serving others in these challenging times and we look forward to our third joint catering donation in July 2020, to another deserving Fairfax County organization.
