The Bernie L. Bates Foundation, Inc., in partnership with the Psi Alpha Alpha Chapter, Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., conducted their COVID-19 2020 NCAA Final Four Raffle drawing on Sunday, April, 19, 2020, via Zoom. Our usual drawing and prizes would have been in person and the lucky winner would have traveled to Atlanta, Georgia, for this annual thrilling event. However, the COVID-19 environment required a major modification to our annual scholarship fundraiser. In lieu of our usual NCAA Final Four Package, we decided to give the first place winner a $4,000 cash prize. We are proud to congratulate the following 2020 winners and to thank them for supporting our major scholarship fundraiser. First Place: Cleve Davis ($4,000); Second Place: Evelyn Parham ($500; Third Place: Horris Gibson ($250); and Fourth Place: Jaquis Gaskins ($150). We thank the winners and all of the patrons who supported our annual fundraiser.
